Runner-up at the 7th International Business Gunnies Bangladesh-2022 public speaking competition.
The competition
I finished as runner up in the public speaking competition at the 7th International Business Gunnies Bangladesh event in October 2022. The event was organised by FoHTEM, the Federation of Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management.
Speaking with a clear purpose
Participating gave me a chance to practise presenting a position clearly and keeping an audience engaged. I was grateful for the support I received from mentors and peers during this period.
Why I value the experience
Public speaking continues to be relevant to my work. An idea is easier to use when it is explained with a clear structure and an understanding of the audience. I want to bring that same care to the way I communicate data and business information.
