Representing BUFT Debate Club
Our BUFT Debate Club team finished as runner up at the national debate festival hosted by South East University's Language and Literature Club in March 2024.
A shared result
I took part alongside Hasanul Ameen and Sayeda Ummul Wara. I appreciated the preparation and commitment each teammate brought to the competition.
The experience gave me another opportunity to test an argument, listen to opposing views and work with my team under time pressure.
What I learned
I learned to value clarity over complicated wording and to pay attention to how an argument is received. Those habits continue to help me when I need to explain my thinking to others.
