Product Coordinator (Lifestyle)
Coordinating across Sales, Finance, Design, Marketing, Sourcing, and Product teams within the Lifestyle Business Unit at New Era ANZ.
My role
I work as a Product Coordinator in the Lifestyle Business Unit at New Era Cap, supporting the ANZ business from Bangladesh. The role connects me with the Australian market and with colleagues across different parts of the product process.
Working across teams
My work involves coordination with Sales, Finance, Design, Marketing, Sourcing and Product teams. I support the flow of product information across these functions and follow up on the details that help the wider process move forward.
Working remotely makes clear communication especially important. I need to understand what each team requires, keep track of outstanding questions and make information easy for colleagues to use.
What I am learning
The role is helping me understand how commercial priorities, product decisions and operational work connect within a global apparel business. It is also developing my ability to work with different perspectives and responsibilities.
That experience informs my interest in data. A report or workflow is useful only when it reflects the decisions and constraints of the people relying on it.
Why this matters to my transition
I am building my data skills alongside this role. The business context I gain at New Era Cap gives that learning a practical purpose, particularly when I think about product information, reporting and coordination.
