The achievement
I was part of BUFT Debate Club's championship achievement in the Debate for Democracy competition broadcast on ATN Bangla. The award was issued by Debate for Democracy in March 2024.
Contributing as part of a team
Debate asks a team to examine a position, prepare its reasoning and respond clearly under pressure. Being part of this achievement meant contributing to a shared effort and taking the responsibility of representing the club seriously.
Why it matters to me
The result remains an important part of my university experience. It reminds me that a convincing argument needs preparation, teamwork and careful attention to the question being asked.
I carry that lesson into my professional work. Whether I am presenting an idea or explaining an analysis, I want the reasoning to be clear and the evidence to support the conclusion.
